This past week was busy with overdue Dr. visits and exams for me and Ethan. He was awesome at his first dentist appointment. He was even better at the eye doctor. The doctor showed Ethan pictures instead of letters. Ethan was hilarious. As the objects got smaller, Ethan would say "It's a little, little, little, big jet. It's a little, little, little, little, tiny, birthday cake. Funny kid. Fortunately, he did not inherit his mother's vision. It appears that at least for now, Ethan has perfect vision.
As far as the move goes, Ethan, Ellen and I won't leave until the first of September. We will be renting our home to a good family that used to live in our neighborhood. They move in September 1. Spencer will return home shortly before that to help finish the packing and get us moved. He then heads to Barstow for a quick business trip, and we will all drive to Albany together. Hopefully our new home will be finished by then...or nearly done. We may be living in a hotel for a week or two. Not so bad.

Oh you are leaving too soon! Who is moving into your house? You should bring Ethan over so you can get some packing done!
