We have made a lot of improvements in our basement this week. It has been cleaned, cleaned and cleaned. Most of the painting is done, and we have narrowed our carpeting search down to 3 choices.
Our fun project this weekend was removing the basement door! After Spencer built this home he placed a door at the bottom of the stairs to separate the spaces for rental purposes. It took Spencer a good while to pound it all out, and it will take even longer to repair the wall where the door was. However, it makes me so happy to have that door gone!!!!! It just makes everything so much more open. I am getting more and more excited to get this space done so we can use it. Here are a few pictures of Ethan helping daddy with the door.
