Recently, my niece wrote a poem about Douglas. She submitted it to a poetry contest and won. This is her poem:
Douglas
Douglas: happy, funny, loving.
Jumping, laughing, playing.
Douglas: smiling, dancing, joking.
Daring, thoughtful, singing.
Douglas: amazing, talented
Courageous, compassionate, friend.
Douglas: uncle, brother, son.
Crazy, favorite, fun.
Douglas: gone from this Earth,
But forever in my heart
